Pikes Peak Garden Center

The Pike's Peak Garden Center is open year round by appointment or chance and is located at 920 Tenth Street in Covington, just 20 minutes from Pike's Peak Retreat.

In the spring, we have all the usual, and sometimes not so usual, annuals of petunias, begonias, marigolds, geraniums, impatiens to name a few. There are also hanging baskets of petunias, lobelia, and mixed baskets. Or, if you'd like, bring Barb your empty hanging container or baskets and she will plant it with your favorites.

In the fall there is a parade of mums in lots of colors and varieties. Or consider the beautiful ornamental cabbages and kale that turn a deep purple and light pink during the fall season adding a wonderful look in between the mums.

During the pre-Christmas season, we take orders for fresh balsam mixed wreaths. These wreaths have a wonderful scent sure to remind you of the Christmas season. Hung inside OR outside, the wreaths last well into the spring planting season. For an added touch, pick out your favorite outdoor bow.
